To Sum It All Up...
I sent this E-Mail to Joel, and I think it expresses my feelings on Daft Punk quite well:
Dude, I was in the largest HMV in Canada and I couldn't find the Iron and Wine CD I wanted!!! How retarded is that? I ended up buying an embarassing amount of movies though (all great ones, rest assured).
and yeah!!! the show was soooooooooooo killlllerrr!!!!! I've been telling everyone "It was like a religious experience... But without the religion" Which totally sums it up perfectly! I was super close to their mountain of lights, it was CRAZY!!!!!! I actually saw Daft Punk with my own two eyes!!!!
For the last like 15 minutes, I went to the very very back, to the top of the bleachers or whatever, and I would have rather been there the whole show, the view was AMAZING! There was a huge sea of at LEAST 3000 people!!! SO surreal!!! There was this girl standing up there with me, and we started dancing together and it was great!!! SO amazing!
I almost regret going, because any concert I go to after this will immediately be less enjoyable than it could have been. All because of Daft Punk.
